SECURITY & ANTI-FRAUD NOTICE
1. Purpose
This Security & Anti-Fraud Notice describes how COCO JOJO LLC ("COCOJOJO," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") protects against fraud and how you can protect yourself. Cybercriminals increasingly target businesses and their customers through impersonation, phishing, and fraudulent payment schemes. This Notice helps you verify that you are dealing with the genuine COCOJOJO.
2. Official COCOJOJO Communications
| HOW TO VERIFY GENUINE COCOJOJO COMMUNICATIONS COCOJOJO's official communications originate exclusively from @COCOJOJO.com email addresses and our verified official channels. COCOJOJO will NEVER change its bank or wire instructions by email alone, and will never ask you to send payment to a new or different account without verification. ALWAYS independently verify any payment instructions, banking details, invoice changes, or wire instructions by calling a previously known, verified COCOJOJO contact using a phone number you already have on file - not a number contained in the suspect email - before transmitting any funds. |
3. Common Fraud Schemes to Watch For
- Business email compromise (BEC) and spoofed sender addresses that look similar to @COCOJOJO.com
- Fraudulent invoices or sudden "updated" banking or wire instructions
- Phishing emails or texts requesting login credentials, payment, or personal information
- Fake websites, look-alike domains, and fraudulent social media accounts
- AI-generated or deepfake voice, video, or text impersonating COCOJOJO personnel
- Requests for gift cards, cryptocurrency, or unusual payment methods
4. Our Security Measures
COCOJOJO implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encryption in transit, access controls, multi-factor authentication for administrative systems, fraud monitoring, security logging, employee training, and incident-response procedures. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Your Responsibilities
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, verifying communications and payment instructions through known channels, keeping your contact information current, and promptly notifying us of any suspected fraud or unauthorized activity.
6. Disclaimer of Liability for Third-Party Fraud
| WIRE FRAUD AND IMPERSONATION DISCLAIMER To the fullest extent permitted by law, COCOJOJO is not responsible or liable for losses arising from intercepted communications, fraudulent or altered wire instructions, phishing attacks, unauthorized email activity, cybercrime, payment fraud, deepfake or AI-generated impersonation, spoofed domains, fake social media accounts, or related third-party conduct, including any failure by you to independently verify payment instructions through a previously verified channel before transmitting funds. |
7. Reporting Fraud
If you receive a suspicious communication purporting to be from COCOJOJO, or suspect fraud, do not respond, click links, or send funds. Contact us immediately at support@cocojojo.com using contact details you already have on file. You may also report fraud to your bank, the FTC (reportfraud.ftc.gov), and the FBI Internet Crime Complaint Center (ic3.gov).
