How California residents can exercise opt-out rights related to sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and sensitive personal information.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CPRA"), California residents have the right to direct businesses not to "sell" or "share" their personal information, as those terms are defined under California law.
COCO JOJO LLC ("COCOJOJO," "Company," "we," "us," or "our") values your privacy and provides California residents with the ability to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information used for cross-context behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, analytics, audience measurement, retargeting, advertising attribution, marketing optimization, and similar activities.
What Does "Sell" or "Share" Mean?
COCOJOJO does not sell personal information in exchange for monetary compensation.
However, certain uses of cookies, pixels, analytics tools, advertising technologies, and similar Tracking Technologies may constitute "sharing" under the CPRA when information is disclosed to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.
This may include disclosures involving technologies provided by third parties such as:
- third-party technology providers
- third-party advertising providers (social media platforms and social media platforms)
- social media platforms
- YouTube
- email and SMS service providers
- Analytics providers
- Advertising platforms
- Marketing and attribution vendors
- Session replay and audience measurement providers
- Other advertising and technology partners
These technologies may collect or receive information such as:
- IP address
- Device identifiers
- Cookie identifiers
- Browsing activity
- Shopping activity
- Pages viewed
- Referring URLs
- Interaction data
- Advertising identifiers
- Approximate geolocation
- Inferred interests and audience segments
Your Right to Opt Out
You have the right to direct COCOJOJO not to sell or share your personal information for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising.
Once we receive and verify your request, we will apply your opt-out preference within fifteen (15) business days, as required by 11 CCR Section 7026(f), and will notify third parties to whom we shared your personal information within the preceding ninety (90) days.
Your opt-out request may apply to:
- The browser and device used to submit the request
- The identifiers reasonably associated with your request
- Where you provide an email address or other persistent identifier, the preferences linked to that identifier across our Services, to the extent technically feasible
- Tracking Technologies subject to applicable law
You may need to renew your preferences if you clear cookies, change browsers, use a different device, reset browser settings, or use privacy or ad-blocking tools that interfere with preference storage.
How to Submit an Opt-Out Request
We provide multiple designated methods for submitting opt-out requests, in accordance with Cal. Civ. Code Section 1798.130(a)(1):
1. Email Request

- The words "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line
- The browser and device you use when accessing our Services

Please include your full name, email address, and a clear statement that you are requesting to opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information under the CCPA/CPRA.
3. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
COCOJOJO recognizes and honors browser-based Global Privacy Control ("GPC") signals as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for California residents, in accordance with Cal. Civ. Code Section 1798.135(b) and 11 CCR Section 7025.
If your browser sends a recognized GPC signal, we will process it as an opt-out request for that browser and device automatically, without requiring any further action on your part.
Response Timeline
In accordance with Cal. Civ. Code Section 1798.130(a)(2):
- Acknowledgment: We will confirm receipt of your request within ten (10) business days.
- Opt-Out Processing: We will apply your opt-out preference within fifteen (15) business days of receipt, as required by 11 CCR Section 7026(f).
- Substantive Response: We will respond substantively to your request within forty-five (45) calendar days, with one additional 45-day extension where reasonably necessary and with prior notice to you.
Authorized Agents
California residents may designate an authorized agent to submit requests on their behalf, in accordance with 11 CCR Section 7063. We may require:
- Written, signed permission from you authorizing the agent to act on your behalf
- Verification of your identity directly with us
- Confirmation that you provided the agent with such permission
These verification requirements do not apply where the agent has been provided with a valid power of attorney pursuant to Cal. Prob. Code SectionSection 4000-4465.
Non-Discrimination
COCOJOJO will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy rights under applicable law, as required by Cal. Civ. Code Section 1798.125. Unless permitted by law, we will not:
- Deny goods or services
- Charge different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts, benefits, or other penalties
- Provide a different level or quality of goods or services
- Suggest that you will receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of goods or services
- Retaliate against you as an employee, applicant, or contractor for exercising your rights
Additional Privacy Rights
In addition to the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, California residents have the following rights:
- Right to Know: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: Request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
- Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Personal Information: Direct us to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information.
- Right to Appeal: If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response or emailing support@cocojojo.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Appeal."

Important Notice Regarding Third Parties
Third-party platforms, advertising networks, analytics providers, and technology vendors may independently collect, use, process, share, transfer, monetize, or otherwise handle information according to their own policies and practices.
COCOJOJO does not control the privacy practices of third parties once information is transmitted to or collected by those parties through their technologies. Some third parties may, under their own policies, sell, share, transfer, monetize, or otherwise use information for their own commercial purposes - including, but not limited to, cross-context behavioral advertising, audience monetization, data brokering, or resale to other parties. COCOJOJO has no ability to monitor, audit, verify, or control such activities and disclaims all responsibility and liability for them to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Users are solely responsible for reviewing the privacy policies, cookie policies, and terms of service of each third-party service they interact with on our Services.
